Cabbage Whites and Skippers come straight from the garden. Painted Lady are a once a year migration that lasts a few days. I usually go out on a hiking trail around the area of "Real housewives of the OC" and I just have to hold a butterfly net in front of me, to catch dozens as they fly by.

mulberryfarms.com sells larvae and I have had a good experience with them. You have to be careful when ordering larvae because sometime they give you too much and not enough food or just simply not enough food for them.
