Painted lady butterfly

Are painted lady butterflys safe for chams to eat? Just a question because I see loads of them around here. Also I'm pretty sure monarchs are poisonous right?

I believe painted lady's are safe. Monarchs are toxic, though I'm not sure how serious it is. Don't they feed on milkweed?

Yeah monarchs eat milkweed. I know their poisonous to birds but I was just making sure. What about the whites. Not sure what they're called but they're just white butterflys.
