Oxytocin how much to inject for a veiled chameleon?

Oxytocin works only 50% of the time. It can only be used with sufficient calcium levels, usualy a vet will also inject first with calcium gluconate. If the chameleon is egg bound it won't work, if she is close to being egg bound it may work. The closer she is to laying the higher chances are. The vet will usually only give up to 3 injections a day with 3 hour intervals, as you need to be carefull with it. I've used oxytocin twice. The first with no success. 2nd time worked after one shot on another Cham

Giving oxytocin at the wrong time or wrong dose can potentially have very detrimental effects - work with a vet if you'd like to consider it.
