Hello! Here I am being overprotective again, I have a baby veiled and I just want to make sure she's doing all right. Do you guys think she looks dehydrated? I'm worried about her crackly scales, especially under her armpits. What do you guys think? Healthy?

Judging by the photo she's not dehydrated, he eyes look perfectly fine, not sunken in. I was exactly the same with my little guy for ages after I got him, always worrying over him for nothing. Your girl looks great.

It looks like there might be some pieces of skin left over from the most recent shed. Just make sure you keep your cham well hydrated. If he/she is not getting enough water, you may notice the eyes sinking in to the head a bit.

Their skin in certain spots ( under arms, throat) looks dry and crackly sometimes. especially under the throat, over the hyoid bone, there will be ridges that look like shallow cracks. It freaked me out the first time I saw it to. I worried over Louie like a newborn baby, checking him at night, inspecting him ten times a day, lol. It's like having your first child.
