Outside Eating

So, I had Lola outside today for a little natural sun. She's crawling around her jade plant when all of a sudden a fly lands on one of the leaves and before I could swat it away she'd shot her tongue out and gotten it.

I've heard all the bad possibilities that can come with eating wild insects, so I'm hoping this one time offense won't do her any harm, but I'll be keeping a close eye on her.

I must say, though, she was really excited to get at that fly.

That's always a heart stopper! I'm sure she'll be fine though.

I've found that it's actually pretty rare to catch any sort of desease or anything from outdoor bugs, even though people are so opposed to it... so I guess that's a plus :D

I just got some blue bottle flies hatching in a box in my room and Ender and Peter have been going nuts over them. It's pretty sweet to watch

That's why I put my guyz in cages outside, but I would rather have a small tree or something so they don't feel confined.
I used to let my jacksons run around my back yard, but after reading so many horror stories about birds swooping down and taking off with them, I don't do it anymore.

I wouldn't worry much about the wild fly thing, one time will not hurt your cham.
What I worry about is seeing them zap some bug that I don't know what it is

Good thing is, none of my neighbors use any sort of pesticides in their gardens. So I feel a little safer.

Noogie (my male jax) is outside right now, in his small reptibreeze cage.
He lets me know when he want back indoors by scratching at and cage door when he sees me :)
I open the cage door and he climbs on my arm for a ride back home.
