Outside cage free roaming

So today I decided to create an outside the cage sanctuary with heavier foliage for my panther (I used an unusually full breadth umbrella plant) and I guess my real question is how long is sufficient "play time" outside the cage without getting Mr. Stanley too used to the umbrella plant? And should I mist him and feed him outside the cage or keep that behavior inside?

Completely up to you. It can be 20 minutes or a couple hours, depending on how he does. Sometimes I'll put a plant on my desk and put one of my more friendly chameleons on it to chill with me and I'll put them back in when I can see that they're getting fidgety and want to get off the plant and explore the rest of the desk. You can feed him a treat or two, again, this is completely up to you.
