Outside and in the shower

Hello everyone. I see many posts were people say they take their chameleon outside and in the shower(for the steam I guess)and I was just wondering if that would be OK to do with my chameleon. Just wondering?

sure why not? Any time you can get them outside for natural sunshine is great. I personally do not do the shower thing with my chameleons but many members do. Don't use hot water and do not let the water directly spray on your chameleon. Make it bounce off the wall then onto the plant you have your chameleon on

I take my cham outside as much as possible. I give mine a shower every once in a while also, like not more than once a month. I take her outside at least 5 days in week though for a few hours, im starting to get really tan I also use the time while she is outside to clean her cage while my gf watches my cham. Natural sun is always good for them.

Thank you. Oh and also, does your chameleon need to be on a plant or can he just be on your arm while in the shower
