Outside and for the first time enjoying it

So I took Hope outside, which I have done many times before during her recovery. However she has gotten so healthy this last month that she was actually just able to enjoy it this time. I would've taken pictures but I left all my stuff that is able to do that inside. Usually when I take her outside she turns black and I don't know whether it's from fear, or from just trying to soak up the rays. Either way this time she switched through so many colors, her usual mottled basking colors, to dark olive green, to this bright green with powdery blue patches I have never seen. My little girl was so beautiful and she was even able to climb up my shirt by herself and perch on my shoulder to bask. I am so happy with her progress, I need to get pictures next time and show her off.

Very glad to hear some good news!! It is amazing how natural sunlight can change their entire moods so quickly.

Please post some pics when you get a chance!

Its normal for them to darken up. To soak up all those good uvb&uva. I try everyday we have a sunny day. She gets mad when I got to bring her in before dark.
