outside and black?

i took jumanji outside and he super black! is he trying to absorb the heat or is he stress out? he is about 2.5 months.

probably both 2.5 months he is small still and everything must look scary, what do you have him in does it give him good cover and is it nice and warm out ?

is inside his cage, just that he is outside. and l.a is very warm right now

I have been putting my 7 month old out in a Hibiscus since he was 4 sometimes hes goes black and sometimes not. how long have you had the little guy

I am no pro Rhaegar is my first but I was told by the Breeder and I think I have read it here that you should give them at least 2 weeks of as little interaction as possible to get used to their new environment. So it is probably a little freaked that the home it was just about settled into just picked up and moved, but since it’s the entire cage it will get over it they are a lot tougher than I think people let on. Not sure what kind of space you have but if you are able to stay out and watch it, go get a nice fichus or Hibiscus and keep it outside as kind of an outdoor roost but only if you can stay out and keep the predators away. This is also nice to have as it should get used to this out door home so when it comes time to clean the main cage you can do it with less stress to him.

He's trying to get as much of the good stuff as he can. Sucking up those rays of sunlight.
