Outdoor enclosure?

I was wondering...when I purchase my chameleon (panther), would it be possible to leave him outside during the summer days/nights?

I live in Toronto, Ontario.

Mister would be with cage.

Reptibreeze XL.

My only concerns are temperatures (which can be fixed) and maybe other bugs trying to get in the enclosure.

How hot/cold does it get during the morning and at night? I would only house him or her outside if temps don't go below 60 degrees and don't go any higher than 90 degrees. Many people on the forums house chameleons outside. You need to watch out for predators like cats and birds or anything else that might try and get to your chameleon. Also I would worry about very windy days that could possibly blow the chameleons cage over, letting him escape or be crushed ( it gets super windy in vegas, can't leave mine out really :( )

Well here in Canada, we're in Igloo's..so it gets to around 15-20 degrees year round.

I'm kidding, during the summer months here, it ranges from mid 60's-mid 80's (at least in August)

The winds aren't bad here, and if so, I'd weigh down the enclosure a bit.

Birds could be a worry, not worried about cats though.

Thanks for the reply!

I keep mine outside 24/7 from spring when temps at night remain above 50 till fall when temps drop below 50. I just use 50 as my safe mark- anything below that and they come in. So sounds like it would be fine where you are at.

the temps here in ohio have been around 80-87 the past few days and my baby ambilobe loves it but im afraid if he gets too hot he wont have anywhere to go while outside because its the ambient temps. Is 80-87 okay to let him sit outside all day or will he overheat? i do spray his cage like 5-6 times a day out there tho because it does dry up quicker than indoors.
