Outdoor breeding houses

is it better to house your herp outside if you want natural breeding process as long as you take steps for the winter time when they brumate
 
Hiya, this is GilliesExotics from the bearded forums.

It really depends on the reptile you are working with. Most chameleons available in the US do not brumate and will not tolerate our winters here in the midwest. Overall with weather permitting keeping outdoors is preferred.
 
Depends on temperatures outside... All honesty. I wouldn't. Too many bugs will get to them. Birds will bother them. It's chaos out there for them lol
