Out in the rain?

It's been raining quit often down in florida and I was wondering if I could take my meller or my panther outside on my movable freerange and let him soak on the pothos in the rain? Would the rain hurt him because of the pollution and stuff like that or no?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

sure they live in the rainforest after all! i know there is no pollution but I don't think that is a worry. I would just have some area where he could get out of the rain so he is not forced to be in it if he chooses not to.

No different than giving them a shower inside. But like carol said I'd put a barrier over a portion of the cage to give them a place to get out of the rain in case it started a real downpour.

I'll only be doing this when m standing in the rain watching him :D

My cages are out 24/7 during the summer months and it rains pretty regularly- been a rainy week this week- pouring this morning and the chams are out in it. They do great. Melleri are probably loving it.

my veiled is enjoying the rain outside as i type this post. i position his outdoor cage so part of it is exposed to rain/direct light and the rest of the cage is in shade. creates a nice basking perch for him as well.

Awsome thanks for the quik replies I'm going to wait till it starts raining again and I'll try it considering that my meller is shedding right now it will help him out
