Forgot about those schefflera. I was going to get one there (they are really nice for the price), but it was too big and wouldn't fit in my baby's enclosure

I ended up getting a beautiful Schefflera from Home Depot for $10. Perfect size for his cage, I'll have pics tomorrow of his renovated habitat. Hopefully the last renovation for a while! I feel bad making changes so much but I just want to get everything perfect.

Make sure that you repot it in organic soil. I think Home Depot puts pesticides in the soil and those aren't good for your chameleon.
I can't wait to see pictures. I have a Jackson too and he loves his Schefflera. I hope Albert does well.

Sorry, been really busy. We completely redid his habitat, incorporating a beautiful live Schefflera and some natural birch branches for basking at the top. and wrapped the artificial vine that he loves around the plant. I'm quite happy with the outcome and this will hopefully be the last time we make big changes for a while. He hasn't had a real chance to settle in since every time he starts to get comfortable we learn some new information and make a change.

He's pretty grumpy with all the commotion so I'm going to give him 2-3 weeks to hopefully settle in before I mess with him any more aside from misting and feeding. He's been puffing up and opening his mouth at me any time I try to handle him since all the change. I just want him to get comfortable, but all the changes have been for his own good. I'd rather have him be healthy and grumpy than at risk and more comfortable.
