I haven't been on the forums in so long. My life has gone through some drastic changes lately involving my time, my job, my commute. It's almost like moving to a new city. So I haven't much time to post or read anything on here. I hope I'm not a total stranger anymore.
This forum was extremely instrumental in helping me succeed in this hobby. I've met some really great friends on here. This is one of the best hobbies.
One thing this board did was help me raise Otto from a baby chameleon. Anyone who's been on this board for a few years has seen or heard of Otto. He died this month at three years old, a super healthy, super mean veiled that loved to hate my camera. It was that hate that got me some of the award winning photography I have of him. He taught me how to photograph a chameleon, and I've used the skill over and over since.
Many of these photos have been posted before but I thought I'd post them one last time in my last "Ode to Otto". Catherine was actually his new owner for the last year, and gave him the best year of his lizard life. Thank you Catherine! He couldn't have wished for a better keeper! It was Catherine who found him dead and had to break the news to me. Luckily it was nothing that could've been prevented.
However! - He's got a clutch incubating, and if you're interested in his outstanding bloodlines contact Catherine (pardalisgirl).
Thanks for all the head butts and the avatar, Otto!
