Other Chameleon Species for newer keepers-

Easier yes. Easy no. Once acclimated they are more fore giving of minor mistakes.

I'm having trouble with the babies moreso than the adults. I'm thinking the clutches were really weak, they were all really small (the babies)

Chase

High humidity without a lot of water. I was also surprised at the size of the babies. They are pretty small considering the size of the adults. Sternfeldi babies are bigger at birth.

How do you do that? I have two sides of the cages covered and spray enough for the plant to get wet. I haven't even seen them eat that much either

Mine hate being wet! I make sure the room humidity is high.

For the first couple of weeks mine were not very eager eaters. Now though I feed atleast twice a day and they still want more. This is with out a doubt the slowest growing species I have ever kept. Bean beetles are their favorite food currently.

I'm offering hydei and pinheads, and like I said, I never see them eat. The babies don't like being wet, but the adults don't mind.

Your weather is perfect to be raising them outside. Maybe some natural sunlight would pick them up.

That's one reason I never start babies in screen cages. Too much ventilation lowers humidity and the babies get wrinkly. Mine stay in bins for at least the first month.

I couldn't tell you what the humidity is in the cages. I only monitor room humidity. If the room is 50% I'd bet the cages are probably 60%
