it all depends , the shipping carrier may leave you package in the sun and that would be end of story for you dubias . hold for pick up would be the best option if your not going to be home .

I feel its best practice for any feeder shipment that if someone is not going to be home when the delivery happens, its best to hold it for pickup.

You can track the shipment though. My son is home during the day and I just text him to bring the package inside the house when I get notified that it has been delivered on my phone.

Makes sense. I'll most likely plan for that. Although the highs here are high 60s low 70s during the day and my front door where my stuff gets dropped off is always shaded. Think that might be ok if worse comes to worse?
