Hey, just wondering what the optimal surface skin temperature would be (a range is fine too) for:
1) Veiled M/F
2) Panther M/F
3) Xanth Jacksons
4) Mellers
5) any others you know.
It'd be super awesome if anyone had that information. So far The veiled male I have is around 85-90 while basking. One of the panthers starts to gape when his skin is warmer than 83-ish degrees, the jacksons is at 80-82 at the hottest, and the melleri get to about the same as the jacksons. Those are actual surface skin temperatures, and not just basking spot temperatures.
If you don't know, but have a temp gun, your personal chameleon data would be good too.
Thanks!
