Opposite dilemma of most kids.

So, usually kids WANT present for xmas, right? Well after listening to my parents drone on and on about high costs and wasting money year after year, I told them this year that I didn't want anything for xmas. So now my mom is INSISTING that she will buy me stuff that I probably won't even want anyway, since she does that everyear, she buys me crap she WISHES I would want, like pink sparkley crap, instead of what I LIKE, black and skulls, flames, etc. I bet on xmas she's going to drone on and on again about costs, wasting money on stuff, not to complain about what she buys, etc.

I did the same thing. I decided there wasn't anything I needed for Christmas one year to try to not accumulate more stuff and save my parents some money. I thought being less materialistic was a good thing but then my mom told me I was a spoiled princess if I already had everything I could ever want. So I had to think of things I didn't need to apparently be less spoiled. There's no winning sometimes!

I know.. sometimes parents just love to argue. Then they go around and tell you YOU'RE having a bad attitude when you just simply say something. Urks me.

haha that's funny. Once my brother and I got old enough to where we couldn't think of anything that we absolutely really wanted for xmas my parents stopped getting us alot of presents and instead we'd go on a family vacation for a week and half to wherever. we have the option of a family trip with some small presents or 1 really nice present. We've been going on trips since I was in 7th grade. (im now a junior)

A vacation with my family? *shudders* Nothing is fun with my mom around. We went to the beach, right, she barely let me put my foot in the water because I "can't swim and would drown". Mind you she has never never seen me swim after my constant attempts to show her, I've had lessons from friends, but apparently to know how to swim I need "professional training". I had to sit on the sand the entire time and do NOTHING, and then she complained that I was grumpy. After that though I guilted my dad into buying me a real shark in a jar hahah. Then again my grandparents chose to share my room and since I wear black (because of my hyper hydrosis, I sweat ALOT no matter what I try, pills, powders, extra str deods, nothing helps and sweat stains embarass me) so they think I'm a satanist for wearing a black shirt and kept trying to read me the bible.

Ha, I would have gotten up with a knife in one hand and woken them up.

Ahahah I actually had that idea! I need to buy some red or black demon contacts next time they come, lean over their bed with a knife, dripping blood out of my mouth and have whipped cream foam, stare at them and be like "I'm going to sell your souls to saaataaaaan!!!!!".

You sound like the people i'd hang out with. Fun pranksters. :D

You need things for your chameleons, right? Ask for a big store credit from your feeder site. Or ask for a pledge to pay for a vet visit if needed.

Or, if you're feeling especially noble, ask for gift cards to local restaurants and then insist on taking your family out to eat a few times during the year.

Something about me hurts my pride to ask things for a life that I took on, I like earning my own money, which I have an excess of right now. I might try to participate in a photo contest one day if they get themes more fun than just months. I could completely take advantage of my mom being obsessed with dolls... she has things on the walls of both the living room and dining room lined with a few hundred dolls, not to mention accesories perfectly sized for Karma, rocking horses, one of those things you push that has balls that pop around, bottles, etc.

You have no idea... my mom thinks I'm lil' good miss two shows, so on April Fools day I got a fake suspension notice... I got to have the teacher write down my own words haha.
"Your child ______ ______ has been suspended for 7 day(s) after getting into a physical fight with another student. Your child got very angry after being instigated, and had to be pulled off by nearby teachers after failing to comply with the demands to stop."

LOL! Genius! I can only imagine how she would have reacted to that! :p

She can't read my, can't read my, can't read my poker face. Actually after the look on her face and her going "but you're my GOOD kid... you don't do stuff like this, why would anyone be mean to you?!" I burst out laughing.

lol, when i was in grade 11 or 12 i wrote a book for an english assignment called "101 ways to get out of class" i not only gave it to the teacher but a bunch of my friends, then afew did the fake puke trick, and i got sent to the office and they threatened t suspend me
