Hi guys, this is my first post on here. I am a new Veiled Cham owner, but have several years of experience with many other herps but I am just curious as to a few things with my little guy "Papi". I can't tell if he is dehydrated by looking at his skin (see below pics), also he has a one or two dull white spots(not large at all) around his mouth but I'm not sure if it means he is about to shed.. All in all I am just looking for some general opinions about the little guy(visual health observations and what not). He is very lively and roams around his cage all day and basks normally.
Male Veiled Chameleon age 1/2 a year
Feeding :5 calcium dusted gut fed crickets + random number of fruit flies
Handling : Never, he does like to be fed by hand or bamboo tweezers
Supplements: zoo med calcium powder/d & cricket food
watering: Use a dripper twice a day and I mist frequently
Cage;24x36
lighting 100 watt basking light, UVB light, and red light for night time(It gets down to about 60 in my house at night so he needs the night light)
temp 80-85 degrees humidity usually around 80%
Location: Connecticut
ALSO: I'm sorry for the picture being upside down, I will have to get used to posting ;-)
