My two in a half month old chameleon sometimes has been opening his mouth sometimes puffs up too for 30 seconds to a minute. Is this normal?

Is he doing while he is basking? If so, his temps could be too hot for him. Is he doing it when he sees you or when you approach the cage? He could be showing aggression to scare you away. That could be why is puffing up. Lastly, it could be a respiratory problem and he might be trying to get air, similar to us opening our mouth when we have a cold and cannot breathe through our nose.
