open mouth

our female yemen cham has started to sit with her mouth slightly open although it isn't all day she is doing this it is only for small periods of time?? can anyone give any ideas or advice?

she's in a d:1ft h:3ft w:2ft glass cage temp 27 - 30c during day 22 - 25c at night humidity between 40 - 50 got running waterfall plastic plant and umbrella plant eats crickets locusts and mealworms + 2 silkworms per week got good apetite also fresh apple and spinach, in low traffic area with no draughts etc

approx 6 mnths old female yemen veiled approx 7-8 inch long from snout to tip of tail, active, good apetite.

Do you have a basking spot?

Is she opening her mouth only while basking?

Do you have pics of your setup?

i can't get the photo's to upload but yeah she does have a basking spot and it is mostly when she is basking she sits with her mouth open?

She's too hot.
That temperature is too high for her in an all glass enclosure.
Also, night time temps should be 15 to 18 degrees c.
I think cooling her down will solve it

also:
I don't like waterfalls in chameleon enclosures and
spinach should be removed from the gut load (very high in oxolates)
