hi, i was just putting wooden dowels in my cham's cage, and i dropped one a few times, and it scared him and now hes doing the leaf dance nonstop did he have like a mini heart attack?!

Lol! You probably freaked him out big time! The sudden movements and vibrations really scared him and pissed him off! Give him some peace and quiet and let him settle down again. It would be best to remove him from his home before you rearrange things!

well i thought of that, but there was really nowhere to put him and i kinda realized that after i put the dowels in

Next time you are near Walmart, Lowes or Home Depot stop in and get a fiscus, wash it well and put it somewhere it grows well. Next time you have to do "home improvements" for him you can just put him in the tree without too much stress on his part. I have a big fiscus (its now about 4 foot) near a big window that mine like to climb around and I can still keep an eye on them when cleaning cages etc. Just dont put him outside without anyone keeping both eyes on him. They are amazing escape artists

Lily used to leaf walk across the back of the sofa! She didn't do it on the floor though - once down there she was always on a mission, lol! Amy does the leaf walk on my hand when we are outside - she sways in the breeze too - I guess her instincts are so strong as she's still very young! Chams are so amazing aren't they?!
