One swollen closed Jackson eye

So I have a Jacksons chameleon, her name is Minx, and is about 2 years old, maybe a little younger(2-4 months). I have to go to school and am very busy throughout the day but I always make sure to check and take care of her but this morning I noticed her right eye, like where the socket meets the eyeball(idk if anyone elses chammy has this but her eyes have purple rings where I just described that are totally normal) and its swollen closed but she can open it very little and sort of move it. It also doesn't look swollen like a perfect circle it's got a bubble shape towards the bottom. Shes eating (crickets are dusted every other time I feed her with all the vitamins she needs), just ate actually and moving around.

Her cage is huge and well misted. Myself and my mom make sure whenever we clean her cage (Really clean it) to get rid of all the sharp and pokey things. I have a 150 watt day time bulb not sure which one right now. and a ceramic 150 watt heat bulb that gets left on 24/7
She also has two sunlight bulbs that are on until she goes to sleep.

It doesn't look like it's her eyeball thats swollen but something to do with the eye socket. It's to hard for me to tell because she won't open it and even if she did theres only a small hole to look through. I'm planning to take her to the vet but since it's thanksgiving I might have to wait a few days.

I was thinking to sit in the shower with her to steam her and run a little bit of saline solution over it to try and help.

Mainly I'm worried about her losing eyesight in that one eye since she LOVES to look around, she's a very curious little girl and I'd feel horrible if that happens to her.

The purple is her normal color but it's the swelling that makes it look so bad. She also opened her eye while I was taking photos but I missed that picture. Shes been to the vet before, for puss in those pockets in the side of their mouth and I clean those whenever needed but she hasn't had to have that happen in a while.

Soooooommmme one please help I'm really worried about her losing her eyesight.

If anyone knows anything please help

That could be an infection or something stuck in her eye turret, like shed skin. Try flushing it with eye wash several times a day. You have to aim the jet right in the turret, and fill it up with the eye wash. If it doesn't fill up its not doing any good. Take her to a vet as well, better safe than sorry.

Good advice above. I'm just here to agree with both their suggestions.

My Jax had a similar lump in his eye not too long ago. It did not swell, but there was an obvious lump in the eye, right where the turret meets the socket. I gave him several very extended warm mistings and rinsed his eye with the pure no preservative saline drops. It took a few days but he finally was able to clear it out. I don't know what it was, maybe stuck shed or some small bit of something. I had a vet appointment scheduled but he managed to clear his eye that morning.

If the eye turret is swollen or her eye gets crusty, it could well be infected. People have shared similar problems here that turned out to be eye or sinus infections. If she doesn't get better shortly, a vet visit is a must.
