i used to only have one uvb tube light on top of my cage, but as of recent i have changed it to two. i also too a bunch of my fake vines out and pruned my trees so that my cham can move easier around because he is getting bigger. he has been browner then normal. i once put a 10 tube in thinking it will be better and he turned brown like this too. is they are two 5.o 18" tubes. he can get like 4 inches away at the closest spot. he getting too much uvb light? should i just put a normal tube light up there to light up the enclosure or should i just put nothing up there?

I would only use 1 5.0 uvb bulb.
The other one I would replace with a regular tube light.
It will help to make the cage brighter and make viewing more pleseant for yourself.

You could also put a normal floursecent light in there to add brightness.

EDIT - Justin Carl just beat me to it. :D

They usually get darker like that to adsorb more of the uv, and the zoo' 10s can reach down to 20 inches into the cage so they say.
