Algae is the One Eyed Wonder! He hunts like he’s got three eyes instead of one!

Here he is eating his catch.

What lovely little buggars i must say.

It's still amazing to me how they figure out how to use just one eye to know where the insect is!
It’s like watching a sniper adjust.

He spots his target,
He aims head,
he uses eye to adjust head a bit more
He aims head again,
Tongue sets
He goes in for the kill!
He catches and eats it!

Reptiles are probably some of the most versatile animals in my opinion and Algae just keeps showing me that. Its an amazing start to your day when an animal you’d never see hunt for himself proves you wrong.

Here’s the little sniper after finishing up his meal.

You said..."He spots his target,

They adjust to missing a leg, missing part of the jaw bone in some cases, loss of their tongue, nails, part of the tail....and still carry on!

Some of us would loose a toenail and almost die!
