Thought crossed my mind, could these be important for chams? I believe grasshoppers are higher in omega 3s, I think from eating grasses. I wouldn't be surprised if most insects have them to some degree though. I've read that the sources from fish/krill/algae? are more useable than those from seeds and other vegan sources. I didn't dig deep into it, so feel free to correct me if I'm off on anything. anyway, our captive insects may have lowers levels than those in wild insects, kind of like chicken eggs and milk have less than free range/grass fed. Although, our bugs eat pretty good and the lower levels in many farm raised products is because they *don't* get to eat insects(vegetarian fed eggs are a BS marketing ploy lol, it's not a good thing) or fresh grass.
