ok, so Olive had 27 slugs LAST WEEK , I left her in her "birthing cage" for 3 days after she stopped laying slugs- then returned her to the big free range - today- I am taking everyone out for some 77 and sun - I happened to see something on the drip tube, OMG- THERE ARE 4 BABIES  in the free range- they were born yesterday - ON EASTER :D I should have known she was up to something when she would not eat, and was hanging out in the lower part of the f/r - the other big female she shares this with had her slugs about 2 weeks ago ( 4-6 ) and Olive followed last week - I did not think they could go almost a week between slugs, and then babies, well, there was one slug - and she still looks a bit fat to me  and last time she had them mixed together? these "slugs" were like the other females, with little 1/2 formed babies in them, so I am not sure what is going on w/ that? the other slugs she had were little disk shaped, and NO babies at all in them - I am getting so confused - the more I read, the more opposite she does things  one of the babies is really small, and does not seem to be able to shoot its tongue, I am going to put him in a small cage and see if he does any better , he did drink nicely tho :) and the others are eating and drinking just fine :)
the pics are her slugs ( I keep photo notes of everything - lol ) her still looking fat and guilty of something , and THE NEW EASTER PIT-LETS :D

Adorable! Olive is definitely the most creative chameleon on here when it comes to... stealing your snails, having surprise babies, and much much more... :p

I hope the baby does well.

lol - tell me about it- she drives me NUTS - I just wanted a "normal " chameleon, all the rest act like normal , but not her - even my vet makes fun of how "odd" she is and acts, he says she keeps his books from getting dusty because she is always doing something weird he has to research :p but I love her :D

I think the funniest thing you've posted about is when she apparently was sitting in the snail bin! Hahaha. She escaped for the snails I guess.

yes, she snuck over while I was filling water drippers, and droped right off her door into the bin, then tried to bite me when I went to get her out ! little snot :p

Oh my gosh! Olive is always doing something unexpected. :) That girl keeps you on your toes. Congratulations on the Pit-lets.

Olive stories are so hilarious. Jacksons are just the funniest chams! Hopefully everything goes well this time around.

Wow Cheryl, momma Olive obviously enjoys keeping you on your toes! What a prankster! Well, at least we know her babies will be adorable.... like little Sammy :)

oh my gosh, look at him :) he sure as some nice yellows !! he looks GREAT :D

I love the little guy and he is really doing well... His tail has been showing a lot of blues lately and is undergoing a late growth spurt. The kink in his tail still shows, but I think it is really cute. It does not affect his ability to grip with it. :D

He hates the camera, thats why you see all those black spots. He goes from bright colors to camo in about 5 seconds when a camera or cell phone is pointed in his direction.
