I have two Ambanja male siblings for sale. Each of them has a separate ad. They hatched around the first part of December 2008 so they are approximately five months old. The mother is Oleander, a wild caught female who was gravid at the time of import. These males are part of that clutch which was produced with the help of an unknown wild male.
Oleander Male #1 is 4 ” snout to vent and 9 ” in total length. He has several gray colored nicks around his mouth. They are not scars but “bruises”. They will disappear after his next shed. He likes to chew on the branches in his cage. He is going through a stage that many juveniles go through were they like to chew on cage items for fun or out of boredom. They usually grow out of this within a few months. Here is the male for sale:
He is not a very photogenic boy. He is much more attractive in person. His colors in his cage are more intense. He turns a light color when he is taken out of the cage. He also hates the camera. I took about 50 shots of him and most were of him running and hiding. I gave up on getting better photos. He is going to look like a traditional Ambanja with dark greens, blues and reds. In person he looks similar to his brother that is also for sale only slightly smaller. He is priced at $250.00 plus UPS Overnight shipping charges.
