Old photo…globifers.

I have seen that picture of your pair of Calumma globifer before. That is a well known vintage Calumma globifer photo. Thanks for the repost.

Have you got any pictures of their enclosure you kept your Calumma globifer pair in?

I don’t have the photo handy at the moment…but…it was an aquarium with a screen lid. Don’t give me a hard time about it…when I first started keeping chameleons there were no screen cages in Canada at all available…and even when they did come in eventually, they were still not very practical with the cold temperatures and dry air in the winters here. As long as you understood the chimney effect, and left no standing water in them, the aquariums were fine for most species.

Over the years, I tried aquariums with screen lids, screen cages, glass cages with screen doors and lids, glass cages with screen lids and glass doors with vents below the doors. The ones with the vents below the doors and screen lids worked best, but the aquariums with screen lids were a close second.
