Ok have cage all set thinking about getting a female?

If I get a female I have one question what makes them diffrent other than they lay eggs and if they lay un fertile eggs how does that work? I put a bucket or tub with dirt on the bottom and can I eat the eggs? Also does her habitat change compared to a males like feeding and temps and huimity etc. also around or what age does she lay her first bach sorry I know realize its more than question

As a starting chameleon keeper, it is highly recommend that you keep a male first. Female require alot more attention medically because of all the things that can go wrong with the egg laying, and I'd assume a human can eat infertile eggs? But whether or not it's medically heathly, or morally for that matter .....is In question. I'd suggest sticking to chicken,.... I'd also suggest researching females, and males for that matter.....in depth before purchase.

For female Veiled Chameleons the care is different then for males. What kind of Chameleon are you thinking of buying? Female Veiled require lower temperatures and less food. They also have less color and smaller head casques.

Ah ok thats nice to know I'll probably get a male first since their easier, also do I have to breed my chameleons? I mean id like him to breed but then I cant take care of his babies you know the only way were to be to use him like a stud serveice and just let the other person keep the eggs. Does it really matter if they breed in captivity or not?

A male is a good choice for your first chameleon and no you do not need to breed them. They are perfectly happy not being breed.
