Congrats on the deposit! I recommend doing a ton of research. You have to know symptoms to look for, proper lighting, proper supplementation. If you really did fall in love with this chameleon, then you have to know how to keep him healthy. I would also recommend looking for a local reptile vet so you have a place to go to for immediate help. I can't wait to see pictures. Good luck![]()
Oh I've been researching for years xD I had a veiled at one time (who HATED me, but loved my friend)...got him because he was in awful shape...I didn't expect him to last as long as he did, tbh, but MBD finally got him...he was too far gone. I've already got most of the stuffs I need as far as lights and supplements, just waiting on the cage and dripper to get here (unless home depot carries a dripper that would work?). My reptile vet is FANTASTIC. He's treated both of my retics for a while. No worries, I'm a research-aholic xD You should see me with retic info. And Monitor info (I don't want one, but I know more about them than I probably should xD)
