I just got back from a mission trip and we were working in someone’s back yard and they had like 12 parakeets In a Chihuahua sized cage with only wild bird feed (mind you they were parakeets) and their only water source was a tipped over water bottle on top of the cage. They were suspended from a tree in the back yard and most of them were really sick
. So we were supposed to make care packages for them and 90% of our teams basket was proper bird equipment. I’m not boasting but I want to make people aware that this is going on and if your looking at buying a pet please make sure you have the money, time, and resources to take care of it, and please do your research!
