i love tegus. especcially argentine black and white baby ones. they are SO CUTE AND HAVE A GREEN HEAD!!

YUP they are so cool, though i think all reptiles are cool tbh. makes it hard for me to decide what i want next lol. but right now maybe a milk snake. not that my parents would let me, but ive had a milk snake on my mind for the past 4ish months ever since i saw one at a reptile place

Right! It is so hard to choose. I almost decided on a Crested Gecko or a Brookesia Chameleon at first. When I am older though, I will all the reptiles I WANT!!!!!\

exactly! though, i do know one i am going to get eventually. In years, when i have alot more experience, i AM getting pygmy chameleons. i literally love everything about them, except that they only live for a couple years. i want to breed them one day far in the future. but honestly it would be unwise to get anything else atm that requires any more care than a snake because even stormy stresses me out daily, lol

YES!!!!! I will get a ton of those. I will have at least like, three terrariums and have one female and male in each one and breed them. THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!

EXACTLY they are the coolest!! but i may try to get them in like at a very minimum 5 years because i really do not want to be responsible for killing them from inexperience or superstressing myself out.

jannb posted her male iggy is 4 years old and 4 pounds. Mr. lola is 3 years old come jan, and is 16lbs...
I wanted a 5-7lb girl... I ended up with a runt male that made up for lost time

If Tegus are too big, there are several reasonably-sized monitors that may fit the bill.
