Odd sleeping position

I went to check on my chams tonight and i found my panther sleeping vertically upside down on his ficus, i think all the blood rushed to his head because his mouth was ajar and his head was whitish looking, I gently took him out and sat him up normal on a vine and he closed his mouth and his face looked normal again..has anyone ever had something like this happen, it really freaked me out.

My new baby panther decided to choose a new sleeping spot right now. He is wrapping up at this moment. Like a 75 degree angle facing downwards. Should I move him while he is still sorta awake?

no, i dont think so, my cham sleeps like that sometimes, but my cham was facing straight down at a 90 degree angle today.

ha ha ha that funny, i never understood how my chams hold on to their branches, what ever position they are in, when they sleep

My panther sleeps on the same pothos vine every night and he's usually facing right down. Never seen his mouth open, though...

Chams will sleep in all different directions. Newborn babies very frequently are pointed downward when they sleep.

My Nosy Be was just sleeping and my dripper is set for 1 drop every 30 seconds about, really slow i got it justright to leave alone for the night. Ne ways vincent was sleeping and the dripper dropped some water and it ran down the main vine and hit his chin and he woke up and puffed out and started looking around! he is one grumpy guy when you wake him up from his slumber!

my veiled sleeps like that at least twice a week, i used to worry but just let him get on with it now. silly creature lol

I think Henry is a good example of funny sleeping places... I don't know HOW he things this is comfy... but I find him in some weird places.

If I find him in a weird place like this... I turn on the light and nudge him a bit to get him into anoter position..... He may not like it much....... But I think for a cham his size (580g!) its better he sleep on a solid vine or branch... not sticks jabbing his chin or small sticks. Most of the time he just moves without much fret or upset coloring.

How funny. Melle sometimes sleeps in odd positions as well. I've seen others sleep in weird positions but it looks like Meller's takes the cake...

LOL thats funny. I think they forget how big they are. That big guy in the pic above, Henry, freaks when he sees my small female veiled or my two smaller Melleri. He could eat them in one bite.... but he'll spaz and head for high ground if he sees them .
