Nutrition Bugs for my Chameleon.

Can anyone give me some options on what bugs my chameleon can have that is nutritious!

Also, what are some links you go to shop for bugs. It’s hard finding anything in my area.

And what do you use to gut feed your bugs😁

This will help you a bit too and you can check our site sponsors for where to order feeders from.
Gutloading depends on the bugs. Silkworms and hornworms require their own special chow. Anything else can be fed from the gutload image below.

Discoid Roaches are ok though. @MissSkittles do you know who sells these for people in FL? Dubia.com sells other feeder types as well. Rainbowmealworms sells all types too.

My go-to for discoids (and at times silkworms and other feeders) is http://www.lindasgonebuggie.com/ She’s based on the panhandle and always has great prices.
Next would be https://www.rainbowmealworms.net/large-discoid/ as I’ve ordered from them and they are excellent. The only thing to consider is they are based in California, and shipping problems do occur. Although not their fault, they will make good on dead feeders. Plus, they’re a forum sponsor.
Another forum sponsor is https://www.thecritterdepot.com/products/discoid-roaches-for-sale I have not ordered from them so can’t offer any feedback.

Yeah I got some discoid roaches it’s like a hit and miss those things. Silk worms I haven’t found yet. So at this point all I no to do to give him different options is to put a order in somewhere. So I was just wondering what would be the best place to shop online for.

I buy feeders from rainbowmealworms and dubia.com. I buy silks from a few places that are sponsors but when they are out I buy from A&R bugz.

It partly depends on what your guy will eat. I personally like black soldier fly larvae because they're nutritious.

We can have discoids, which are just like dubia but move a little faster. Some would argue that they are even better than dubia. https://critterfam.com/forums/topic/difference-between-dubia-roaches-and-discoid-roaches/ One of the forum sponsors sells discoids but are sold out until next week. https://www.thecritterdepot.com/ Another source is http://www.lindasgonebuggie.com/
I have question for you, are you in Florida if so do you use a dehumidifier? If so what kind is good for my guys enclosure. It’s been raining and his humidity is high during the day. Now I think he’s having respiratory issues he just started like Sunday with having his mouth open.

I had to use one of the big 30 pint dehumidifiers. The smaller units do not work well. You need one that will reduce a room's humidity levels.

I just seen it lol thank you. I honestly don’t no how big I should get one. My kitchen and living kinda like combined with each other but my house isn’t that big either. Ahh I’m trying to not stress but I honestly feel like I’m stressing. I have to do something ASAP He’s starting to open his mouth since Sunday. He doesn’t a few times but I no it’s not good and it’s definitely the humidity
