The photo is in the garden. But his enclosure is also outside. He was just looking so handsome this morning I had to take some photos. I couldn't believe how he looked in such cool temperatures.

So you use Mulberry branches in your cages a lot? I have weeping mulberry trees right outside my fence line that make really good chameleon branches. I also like Curly weeping willow branches, have you tried those?

I only have one weeping mulberry tree. I have not used it's branches in my cages yet because the tree is still small. I mostly use apple branches because I have a decent apple tree and clip off nice branches every year in the spring.

No this is Nubby, a wild-caught import his horns were damaged during importation. My avatar is a captive-bred male he's almost 5 years old now.

Tylene, you wouldn't believe it but I found a pair of my quads breeding at 48 degrees. I thought at first he was just climbing over her but upon closer inspection they were actually breeding!

No Jeremy, this just occurred 3 days days ago! Also, it's the first mating for this female. I'll let you know what happens.

Kind of ironic. I owned a Trioceros quadricornis quadriconis male (1995ish) that had his front horns knock off from a fall. I never officially named him. I think calling him "pre nub" would be appropriate. I introduced him to a couple of females however in the California central valley heat with only a swamp cooler he never bred.
