So I have 2 vieldes together in a 2x2x4. The breeder I got them from assured me that they would be fine together. As a few of you have said, they were wrong. So I'm setting up another cage. But I won't have everything until the middle of next week. Any tips on what I can do till then? I already set up a 2ND basking spot cuz the younger female is hogging the original. Odd for the bigger male to not be the dominate one isn't it?

If the enclosure is big enough and you have a lot of areas for the smaller one to escape to you should be O.K. for a few days. This will cause some stress for him, so just make sure you monitor the situation. Kind of strange that a breeder would say they would be O.K. together. I would question just about all other advice that was given to you by the breeder and not assume that they gave good advice. Here is a link to the veiled care sheets just in case you did not see them...https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/. Best of luck with your new friends! :)

I agree the info the breeder gave you was wrong. The info you were just given here is correct. Just get them each info their own cages as soon as you can. We will be here to answer questions and cheer you along.

Wow, that's terrible advice...I'm so glad you questioned it. Once in a while you might be lucky enough to have two chams who can share a large space (but not a 2x2x4), but unless you happen to know their personalities well why take that chance? And, any change in their cage territories could upset what they used to be like. No, its not all that strange for the female to be the boss. She is constantly on guard and defending herself if she's not receptive. She's got more to lose.

You could set one up in a free range fake tree in a pinch.

Some breeders can be so stupid. I don't know why but I can kind of imagine the female hogging the light:D

They are both bright green now with the second basking lamp. Just need to get my feeders made so maybe they can each claim one and not hog the food
