Nothing cuter.....

As a brand new Cham owner, I have to say; seeing my sweet, little guy, all curled up on the front-most vine, with his eyes closed, is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. ...he's chosen the vine closest to the front of his cage. It doesn't even have any covering over that part.

I'm so itching to take a picture, but I'm afraid of disturbing his sleep. :)

And the fact that he's a Flap necked, makes him that much cuter, IMO. ;)

Sleeping chameleons are a really cool thing to look at. A picture won't disturb him, but don't rattle the branch he's on. I've had chameleons jump out...LOL

Lots of owners take sleeping pics.
Second to baby pics, they are the most popular because they are so cute :)

Taking a flash pic will almost surly wake him up, but no harm done.

As already said, just dont scare him because they can panic and jump, or just fall to the floor.

I personaly dont have the heart to bother them with flash pics in general.

One reason I refuse to take extra pics for people is because of potential harm. I also don't hold or handle mine. Just ask some of my buyers lucky enough to gotten some of the meaner ones. I have personally seen a broken leg on a female from a pic taken at night. She freaked out when awakened, and fell to the cage floor, breaking her rear leg. Others, have gotten exteremely angry or stressed while having picture taken. Just not worth it, unless absolutely necessary. Imagine a giant cyclops, holding a camera as big as you are 3" from your face. You would freak out too. :)
