Not liking new cage???

I have a male juvenile chameleon that I have recently moved into a new cage. He has been in the cage for around a week already. Every time I see him he is always on the walls or ceiling. He never comes off them, he even sleeps on the walls/ceiling. I have sticks and plants for him to climb on but he doesn't. He also has always been a darker brownish color while in the cage. I make sure he has food to eat and i mist his cage multiple times a day. He has also become very agitated since he has put in the new cage. The cage is 30x18x30 Is it normal for him to be on walls and ceiling? Why would his mood/coloration be like this? Thanks!!!

Do you have any pictures of the cage? It would help us decipher if something is wrong in the environment.

The new cage could be too low to the ground, the temp may not be correct, he feels too exposed to view, or the arrangement of sticks doesn't give him access to an area he wants to reach. We really need to see a picture.
