Not feeding crickets?

I have had bearded dragons and leopard geckos before that ate crickets but they smell so bad and are just dirty. I plan on getting to adult panther chameleons fairly soon (they say the female is HUGE). Can I replace the main food source of crickets? I would like to start a colony of Dubias, Silkworms, Hornworms, and possibly lobster roaches if dubias are not enough. What else could I breed at home? Also, are hissing cockroaches a good food for larger chams or not?

I think the more roaches you are willing to keep the better. I have dusky cave roaches (B. fusca) and they are doing awesome. I give my female the nymphs but my male can eat the adult males without problem, and these roaches are big. I also have discoids, surinamensis, and green banana roaches. They practically take care of themselves, so I love having a few species at hand.

Everything else you listed is excellent as well. The worms take a bit more dedication though, but it's doable.

My mom isnt too big about roaches so I can't have a whole bunch of different bins of different species, whats the best roach besides dubia to go along with the diet? The green banana roach looks fine to me(not too big) and i could probally do one more. Also, do you know anything about hissers?

No, I've never looked into hissers. But I'm loving my B. fusca, honestly. They go from tiny to 3" long, so you have a wide range of sizes to feed depending on the chameleon's size. Dubias are great but I can't have them here in Florida. A very similar species to Dubias is the Discoid.

Ok thanks Olimpia, you are always there to answer my questions thoroughly.
