Not Eating!

Fadeout

New Member
Hello everyone, I have a 7 month old Female Veiled Chameleon. I have been caring for her for the past 3 months and when i first got her, she was perfect. She would eat right away without hesitation. i would feed her large crickets but recently she just ignores them and just wont eat. i tried feeding her meal worms and supers but just the same outcome. She ate a super the other day but that was it. I just tried to feed her again and no outcome. I mist her cage daily so she is hydrated. I just dont know whether im doing something wrong or what. Any help is appreciated. Her poop is a bit of white and brown. Her cage is a full screen about 18x24? not too sure but thats an estimate.

It is possible she has eggs and therefore will need a laying bin. She can lay eggs whether mated or not. I don't know if you are aware of that or not. They will go off food when ready to lay. That is just one possibility. You could use some improving on your cage set up. Do you have a uvb light? I would add many more branches and vines to provide walkways for her. More foilage up near the top, and a basking branch placed horizontally about 8inches or more below the basking light. Can you post some more pictures of her up close?. Also substrate is frowned upon as it can be injested along with prey.
