Not eating.. possible impaction?

* Your Chameleon - male jackson, probably about 1 year old. Has been in my care 6 months now.
* Handling - At least two times per week, and he is usually always happy to be handled.
* Feeding - Was feeding 5-10+ small/medium crickets until 2 months ago when he shed and immediately began eating no more than 1-3 crickets a day sometimes skipping days but always appearing healthy.
* Supplements - Light calcium dusting on every meal (without d3), and calcium with D3 twice a month
* Watering - Daily hand misting, and drip
* Fecal Description - Feces were always light to dark brown, not runny, but slightly moist. Urates were always perfectly white. Used to poop at least once a day

PROBLEM: He has not gone to the bathroom in what seems to be almost a week now. His appetite has also greatly decreased. Since he would not cup feed from me, I let several crickets roam, but there seems to be the same amount. So I am assuming he has not eaten in almost a week either. I have not seen him straining to use the restroom, but have already increased mistings and he has been in two 30 minute warm showers. He has became lethargic the last two days and seems to not be basking and occasionally closing one eye. I have been putting him outside the last two days so that he can obtain some heat and uv rays, but that doesn't seem to be helping. One important thing I must add is that his feces was very runny the day before he stopped eating.

It seems to me that his stomach and underside are a little too large for not having eaten in a week, and that is what makes me believe he is impacted. However, there is no substrate in the cage and I'm not sure what else to do. I read on Chameleon World that Coccidia can cause impaction and was wondering if this may be an issue.

Thank you for any help you may provide.

I don't know if jacksons eat fruits and veggies but grapes make them go poop. If you can't fix the problem a vet appointment is in order.

If you suspect Coccidia deffinitely take him to the vet! Also do you feed your cham anything other than crickets? They can get bored with the same feeder after a while. You didn't add anything about your caging, lighting and gutloading either.

Yeah, I didn't add anything about my lighting, because I didn't think that was part of the issue, but I have a 60 watt for basking, and a 5.0 UVB linear.(temps from 73-86)
He does get a variety of feeders(hornworms, silkworms, superworms, and crickets), but he hasn't gone for any worms in the last month or so. So he's been getting gut loaded crickets (cricket crack and fresh fruits and veggies).
I don't necessarily suspect a parasite causing the impaction, just was curious if anyone had any experience with it.
And whether there was anything else I should try before taking him to the vet.

Thank you

Your temps are right for a male Jackson....many a lil lower like 83? Good choice on UVB tube....how old is it however? They should be no older then 6months old.
