I wanted to see how many crickets some of your chams were eating on a daily basis. I swear I haven't put new crickets in the cage for 2 or 3 days now and there is still 3-5 always lurking around. I usually only put in 4 or 5 at a time... it just doesn't seem like he eats enough?? I feed him 3/4 size and my crickets are "gutload" with flunkers and sesame seed.
I fed him a silkworm for the first time last week and he ate out of my hand (pretty quickly) the first time. He also ate the other two I gave him in a matter of minutes of me putting them on a leaf near him. I gave him one each day.
Does he not like crickets? I don't want to put him on a worm diet as I've heard that isn't good. I've attached two pictures of him I JUST took for this post. He was curled up in his corner he likes to nap in. Sorry for the screen one. Does he look skinny, unhealthy?
He take poops, I've cleaned many up.
This link is the website of where I currently buy my crickets and the silkworms last week. not many places here in Alaska to find food other than the big stores. I have tried dubai cockroaches before. I bought two of them and found both, dead at the bottom of the cage so I didn't buy those again. Maybe another; better choice? http://alaskacricketranch.com/
He is a Jacksons about a year old. I've had him for about six. I got him from Petco.
