Not drinking??

It needs to be atleast 12 inches deep. It doesn't need to be inside the cage. Inside you can provide a smaller container so when she starts to dig, you can move her to the larger one.

help form

ok here's the form thingy :p

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled chameleon, female, about 6-8 months, im not sure. ive had her since january of this year.
Handling - very rarely. only when i clean out her cage.
Feeding - the crickets eat the fluckers brand food with calcium and vitamin d in it. she gets fed 5-6 crickets every morning. she likes to eat lettuce too. mealworms are given about once a month
Supplements - i dust the crickets she gets with fluckers calcium with extra vitamin d.
Watering - i mist him about 6-7 times a day. i do not see him drinking at all.
Fecal Description - poop looks normal... it looks like poop.. urate is yellow, very bright yellow. the cham has never been tested for parasites.
History -he gets stressed when my hand is near him or when i pick him up. but thats normal i think.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Reptibreeze screen cage, i think its 16x18x24 or 16x18x30 inches.
Lighting - ZooMed, one uvb light and one red heat lamp. heat lamp stays on 24-7 and uvb gets turned off at night.
Temperature - all around cage is 75-80 ish degrees. basking spot is 85-90 degrees max. lowest overnight temp is probably no lower than 75. i use a thermometer to measure.
Humidity - i do not have a humidity measurer(?) in the cage yet but i am going to put one in. i mist him every time i go in my room (about 5-6 times a day) i am looking at getting a mister or a fogger to put in. the bark and the wood backing i have on the cage seems to hold moisture tho.
Plants - no live plants yet. when i move her to a bigger cage, i might use live plants. what kind are ok to use with chams?
Placement - i have a ceiling fan in my room. the top of the cage is about two or three feet away from the fan. there is an air vent on the floor below the cage's shelf. i would say the cage is a good five feet off the ground and that the top is about a foot below the ceiling.
Location - we r in colorado so its VERY dry here. humidity is probably my main issue.

ok thanks. so just like a small dish or something with sand for her to dig in. and then move it to a bigger one if she does dig?

Supplements - i dust the crickets she gets with fluckers calcium with extra vitamin d. The normal schedule is calcium without d3 everyday, calcium with d3 twice a month, and multivitamins twice a month.
Watering - i mist him about 6-7 times a day. i do not see him drinking at all.
Fecal Description - poop looks normal... it looks like poop.. urate is yellow, very bright yellow. the cham has never been tested for parasites. Yellow does mean dehydration, you could do showers to help with this, put a plant in the shower with her ontop, aim the shower nozzle, warm, at the shower wall for the mist to gently bounce off onto her, monitor her.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Reptibreeze screen cage, i think its 16x18x24 or 16x18x30 inches. Cage seems too small, look into getting a bigger one soon please.
Lighting - ZooMed, one uvb light and one red heat lamp. heat lamp stays on 24-7 and uvb gets turned off at night. What UVB light? Most is a Reptisun 5.0 that needs to be switched for a new one every 6 months. We don't use red heat lamps, we use regular household bulbs, the light schedule needs to be 12 on and 12 off for both the UVB and heat. It should be dark at night for them to sleep, only get a ceramic heatbulb, which is black, if it gets below 50 degrees at night.
Temperature - all around cage is 75-80 ish degrees. basking spot is 85-90 degrees max. lowest overnight temp is probably no lower than 75. i use a thermometer to measure. 90 might be too hot.
There's blogs on here of many safe plants, the most common are pothos, schefflera, hibiscus.
Placement - i have a ceiling fan in my room. the top of the cage is about two or three feet away from the fan. there is an air vent on the floor below the cage's shelf. i would say the cage is a good five feet off the ground and that the top is about a foot below the ceiling. I'm not sure about this but I believe I've read fans are not good near the enclosures.

My notes are in blue. Also, you keep switching from HIM to HER, which gender is it?

About a bigger cage, is one UVB light and one heat lamp sufficient? As long as she can bask in te heat lamp?

1. i feed the crickets grapes too. what vegetables will they eat?
2. i feed her ( it is a her) calcium dusted crickets everyday. will too much d3 hurt them?
3. about the shower thing, is tap water ok for them to drink? when i mist her, i use filtered water.
4. i am going to get a new cage, she seems to have enough room. she walks around alot.
5. it does need to b switched out i just switched it out a couple days ago. she does go to sleep even with the red heat lamp on.. so idk. can u use the black light for heat during the day too?
6. i dont think its getting up to 90. my house is pretty cool so i doubt it.
7. can u get those plants anywhere?
