Well i've made another topic on my new panther i got (almost 2 weeks ago-Sunday makes 2 weeks) but im not getting too many responses over there and now its coming to the point where im concerned and hope to get more responses over here. Everyday the lights come on at 8am and off at 8pm. He goes to hide around a little before lights off and goes to sleep until the lights come on he stays at the top on his branches sitting moving around all day. I notice the first day when i put him in like not even 5 minutes inside the cage he started lapping up water, ever since i have not seen him drink on my own i figured hes drinking though anyway as i have a mister set up to go off 5 times a day for 3 minutes each. But i always kind of peek when the mister goes off and wait even to about 10 minutes after and i never see any licking. I've literally have not seen any since that first day that one and only time. Now i've pretty much been watching each of these 5 different times the misting goes off. His first response is to move to the opposite end until it stops than goes back to normal hanging out behaviour but does not drink. So today about 2 hours ago i set up a small dripper to see if that would work. He just looks at it and seems to move away from it, no luck with the dripper either (it's only been almost 2 hours with that not much time) but i dont understand why hes not drinking? Also hes been so weird with eating at first he ate a dubia than he no longer accepted them. I went out and purchased crickets and meal worms and placed them in a feeding cup along with the dubias i notice almost right away he went to the cup and ate some crickets and meal worms(I dont use meal worms anymore i just was trying them) Than he stopped eating for a few days. People told me i should try free range. Well lets see i tried it and boom i caught him eating crickets and some wax worms which i purchased. Than stopped eating again free range isnt working anymore(a few days since hes ate) His poops look normal the little white on the end(urates?) and like black looking poop. My main question is What could cause a chameleon to not drink? I understand the mister may be scaring him but not drinking from a dripper either? He has to be thirsty!?

Cage Type - Repti Breeze-18x18x36 for now, was thinking go smaller ended up going with that, defiantly wasn't going with a 2'x'2x4' just yet.
Lighting - 24"Hood, Repti glo 5.0(tube) Bought a Repti Sun, 24" cause i havent had a hood in so long(besides my fish tank) I thought the 24" hood i had would fit the 24" Repti sun i bought, when i opened it i was pretty upset.
Temperature - In the mid 80's, a little warm latley, i use a temp gun to measure temps
Humidity - Its been reading 50 percent, and goes up to about 80-90 alot when the mist comes on. I need to buy a new one the current digital one i have be acting weird, I forgot to buy one yesterday ugh.
Plants - Yes one huge pothos(I think thats whats it's called?) It takes up like so much space thought there would be room for more?
Placement - In the corner of my room, and the room isnt much traffic just me walking around and a tv being on. The cage is about 6.5ft at the top part in the air.
Location - Im located in NYC

Your Chameleon - I've had the chameleon for almost two weeks, it was labeled as sambava x nosey b, and i have no clue on the age.
Handling - Hardly, i've tried to pick him up a few times and take him out to drip water on his mouth to see if he start lapping it up but doesnt bother just tries to climb on the water bottle i use to drip the water on him.
Feeding - Trying different things wax worms, meal worms(no longer), crickets, dubia roaches
Supplements - I have Rep cal without d3, the herptive and the other calicum(it has a pink label, the other is the blue label? Forgot the extact name have to go get the dish)
Watering - Pro mister, 5x a day for 3minutes each.
Fecal Description - Looks normal to me
