Just bred my 7.5 month male from super blue at chameleon paradise to my 6 month female from Sinatra at chameleonsonly. Sure to be some awesome blues!
Bad picture quality sorry.

They are both beautiful animals. What's the best age to start breeding a female panther? Is it healthy to start breeding her at six months?

not really.... than again some people go by age or by size, i rather be safe and do both....at least 1 year old for the female and above 50 grams i believe..not sure

just because they can doesnt mean they should be bred that young imho

anyway, goodluck with the babies and take good care of the female....sure to be stunning offspring nonetheless if all goes well

:eek:I was going to say too young as well, from the research I have done, but good luck! Hope she does well and recovers well!

Good luck with the young female, how much does she weigh? You might want to get some liquid calcium from a vet since she's so young, although she may not need it. That male is absolutely stunning.

The mating part of breeding isn't even the tip of the iceberg! Their 10 minutes of work will cost you about 200 hours of work to raise the hatchlings:D Good luck!!
