Norman's new mini free range

Found some ficus for around $9 so bought a few. Put them on the counter behind my couch after washing and repotting. He seems to really like it for the few hours a day I put him in it. He loves his cage, but always comes to the door wanting out when I get home.

He keeps his mellow colors on, and even harasses my cats, which he seems to do on purpose. I leave bits of kale for him to munch on, on the opposite side of the plants. He'll take pieces of the kale, drag them over to where the cats lay and drop it on them, scaring the crap out of them. i actually got a picture of him doing his little drop maneuver. You can see him if you look close

He doesnt seem to be bothered by them, and they leave him alone.. luckily.

It also helps that the plants are up really high.

The plants really have been washed. my softened water leaves spots on the leaves. He gets RO water to drink.

That's so funny that he taunts the cats. :) I have a chameleon that pretty much stays in his cage all the time so the task of cat harassment is left up to my two cockatiels.

I am -extremely- careful around the cats, believe me. Which is why he only gets the free range when im home and not busy. I guess it isn't really free range :p He stays in the Ficuses, snapping up the treats I leave in there for him, and he watches tv with me.(I swear he watches the TV) I keep a close eye on both him AND the kitties. Norman normally chills in the ficuses, Punkin lays near my feet, Snowi underneath the Ficuses.

Snowi kind of just keeps an eye on him so she doesnt get kale-bombed. I swear she jumped about 6 feet the first time he did that to her. She is so disinterested in him that my girlfriend accidently let Norman crawl on Snowi and she didnt do anything. I freaked out of course, but she layed there all mellow. (but I STILL do not trust her)

Punkin, the other cat.. she gets fascinated with his tail. She isn't allowed within 4 feet of him.
