No power!

Ok so the situation is that a blue from our neighbors backyard got blown up to a power transformer. Which in result made the power transformer blow! Military housing office was called an electric company was called. But they said that it would be anywhere between today if not tomorrow that they could get out here which sucks. Right now I'm without a computer and tv, and no lights for my chams. I would put them outside right now but being in military housing aucks about the no exotic pets rule =/

ahhh i ran into that problem yesterday!!! In FL bad storms reeking havoc!! my dogs hate it and my chams do too. I looked at it like this as long as the lights come on by tommrow, dont chams also have rainy days? get a generator.
i also used a battery powered light just for heat. you can hook up a battery pack system to charge so when the lights go out you can hook it up to your uvb as well. we get hurricanes here. i have to be prepared, and lord knows i wouldn't leave my chammies here in the dark durning a bad storm

When i used to run reef tanks i would hook everything up to a generator if my house lost power, had to do it on a few occasions lol thats too bad you cant just bring him outside

Yea I really just want to put them outside and not worry about it. My next project I just might have to build a 2x2x4 cage and divide it for the 2 of them. where we plan on moving its in hurricane area too. Generators will me a must then.

I dont see an issue in having him outside for a little bit at least, just to warm up.

You would have to run into a really heinous nazi to get into any trouble.

If anyone questions it, say its your pet plant, and dont even mention the chameleon.

haha pet plant thats an awesome idea for when i move to an appartment they dont allow exotics either. looks like me and my "pet plants" will be going outside alot now

Is there no backyard fence so that way noone will see it? I hav never been in military base so idk
