No More Ficus

So I got rid of the ficus I had in Gilligans cage for fear it would cause problems, plus it was too large and left no room for any other plants >.< I want and bought a hanging 6" pothos, a small 4" pothos I may put in a rock ledge planter like this one http://www.reptileoutpost.com/supplies/magnetic-decorations/medium-planter-ledge-granite

I also have a small Umbrella plant that will grow into the cage eventually.
I still need to go get dowels and a hammock or 3 to set up in there but for now this is what it looks like =)

Sorry for the terrible quality, but every time I use my real camera I have a difficult time getting the pictures up and they are always flipped when I post them on here so I took these with my phone

The ficus wax always frightened me. Never got one. Umbrella and pothos, only. Kudos on the pothos. To me there is no more important plant for an enclosure. Perfect for water to run down leaves for drinking. Have had veil and panthers eat the leaves. Great for humidity. Very hardy. Good choices!

One Pathos will fill your cage…I only use Pathos, and hang them so by bottom is clear for cleaning.:D

I have the small one so it will grow in, I need as much sturdy stuff for my guy as I can get so hoping they will both grow long enough to start wraping it around the cage and the wood pieces for better gripping since he has arthritis. Im sad to say its almost impossible to get him to drink at this time even though I try everything. Ive misted for 5 minutes today and while I see he is stimulated to drink he might not have the energy to walk to the leaves to do so =(

Sorry to hear he's got arthritis and isn't drinking, have you tried spraying for a bit to stimulate the drinking response then squirting in his mouth? It may work, worth a try anyways.just wondering, Is there any medication for arthritis in chams? Hope he feels better!

yah ive done that several times, my vet gave me the go ahead that while giving him milk thistle to give him some water that way. And I dont know if there are any anti inflammatory that I could give my guy yet >.< I was supposed to ask today when he went to get another antibiotic shot but I forgot >.<
