No clue...

I tried to search but didn't find the info I was hoping to find. Don't shoot me. I just received my pod of horns and don't really know what's next. They are like REALLY small, smaller than a maggot. Do I just tip the cup upside down and leave them be? Will they have enough air? How long until they're big enough to feed my 5 month old panther. Etc....please and thank y'all!

if the food is at the bottom of the cup tip it over. clean out the bottom (lid) everyday. growth depends on correct temps and food. main thing is keeping any mold from forming and cleaning the poo out.

I keep that cup tipped a bit to allow more circulation. They should be climbing up to get the food while the poo falls onto the lid.

Empty that every day and watch out you don't throw any of the little worms out. In a few days tell us how those little worms are doing!

You can feed them now but I would wait until they are a little bigger.

Since they are a squishy worm, they can be bigger than the space between the eyes and half his body length. :D

Mine were the size yours are when I got them and in a week I felt like they were WAY to big to feed my 5 month old guy.

I'm sure you could, but as far as how, I'm clueless.

*ok maybe I exaggerated a little, Monday they'll be big, Tuesday they'll be HUGE*

I don't keep mine on the cage only because I keep them cool so they eat and grow slower.

I also buy them 3 cups at a time since my beardies love them too! If I did not control their growth I could feed a colony of Chams but only for a day since they tend to all grow at the same rate.

I put mine in a wine cooler at 60 degrees and I get about 2to3 weeks out of them before they are to big. If you don't cool them you might get a week out of them before they are huge
